The Walker episode of season 2 directed by Jensen airs today and photos, videos and a few short interviews with Jensen were released. The interviews can be read in TVLine and Entertainment Weekly.
As expected, Jensen is going to direct one of the episodes of season 2 of Walker, the TV show starred and produced by Jared Padalecki. The filming of the episode, which will be the episode 14 of the season and will be named Don’t You Cry No More, started a few days ago.
The crew members have done some pranks to Jensen by using different director chairs without his name but with references to his characters and family. Below you can find some photos from behind the scenes of the episode.
It is confirmed that Jensen will direct episode 7 of season 2 of Walker, the new TV show starred and produced by Jared. Jensen was supposed to direct one episode of season 1 but due to preparations for The Boys, he was not able to do it.
The new season premieres October 27 but there is no confirmed date for episode 7. If one episode airs per week, it should air on December 9.

Supernatural‘s season 15 filming started last July 18th, with the last episode Jensen will be directing on the show. You can find below some messages about his preparation, including some photos of his children.
After some years without directing Supernatural episodes so he could spend time with his family, Jensen will direct one last episode of the show in this last season.
The episode will start to be filmed on July 18th and it will air as the 4th episode of the season.
Jensen directed 5 episodes in the past for seasons 6, 7, 8, 10 and 11, and they were always the first to be filmed so he could have time to prepare everything.
It was confirmed before by Jim Michaels that Jensen won’t be directing an episode in season 12. Now we know why:
“I just decided to take the first part of the season easy. Twenty-three episodes [per season] is a long, long shoot, and I usually would direct the first episode that we would film… so it’s basically like sprinting the first several miles of a marathon, which doesn’t really work if you’re a good runner. You want to pace yourself, so I’m going to pace myself this year.”
