New parts of interviews which were recorded a while ago were released, one with just Jensen and others with both Jensen and Jared. In the most recent interview, to Entertainment Weekly, Jensen unveil what Dean Winchester and his new character Soldier Boy, in The Boys, will have in common. In the remaining interviews, Jensen and Jared talk about the end of Supernatural and its fans.
As season 2 of The Boys gets to its end, Eric Kripke gave several interviews where he talked about what we can expect from Soldier Boy in season 3. Besides that, he gave more details about the casting and Soldier Boy’s costume which Jensen will wear, confirming what Jensen has said in another interview.

I think anyone expecting Jensen to show up and be a good guy, they will be disappointed. I’ll say that! [Laughs] In the comics he’s mostly just kind of bumbling and subservient to Homelander, I would say. As we’re writing him in this, we’re getting to really talk about the history of Vought because he’s like John Wayne: He’s one of these guys that’s been around for decades of Vought history. And he was Homelander before Homelander, so he’s from a different era, but he’s got the ego and the ambition — it just comes across in a different way because he’s from a different time.

Danielle Turchiano, Variety‘s journalist, has recently interviewed Jensen and Jared by videocall.
In the part of the interview which was now released they talk about three topic: the next episode of Supernatural which airs this week; an episode that both and Richard Speight Jr. were creating but didn’t go into production because the last season has only 20 episodes and a new episode was not possible; and some details about fighting and stunt scenes.
Jensen, Jared and Robert Singer (who directed the last Supernatural episode) were interviewed by Variety, and they talked about the experience of filming the last two episodes during a pandemic.
The rules included wearing masks at all times, social distancing among the crew and enhanced sanitary procedures. Everyone was tested three times a week, according to Warner Bros. Usually, an episode takes eight days to shoot, but they filmed the two remaining episodes over nine days each to allow for delays. Their longest day was 12 hours.
