Jensen will keep Impala after the end of Supernatural
In an interview with the press, Jensen revealed he will take a very special “prop” of Supernatural with him after the end of the show: one of the cars Chevrolet Impala 1967.
“As far as taking something on the final day, I will definitely be taking something that I’ve had my eye on since day one of Supernatural,” he said. “But it’s okay, I’m not stealing it. I got permission.”
“I begged and begged and pleaded for years, but I finally got it this year. They’re going to let me drive home the Impala.”
Jensen won’t probably drive it home literally but soon Dean Winchester’s “Baby” will have a new home in Austin.
And it seems it won’t be the only Impala in Austin. There are five Impalas used on Supernatural, but only three of them are drivable cars. One of them will be sent to Warner Bros. in Los Angeles, one is for Jensen and the other for Jared.
