- Jensen’s parents named him Jensen because they thought that other names are too common. It took three days to name him; Jensen was the last name of someone listed in the hymnal at their church.
- Jensen’s father, Alan Ackles, is also an actor. He appeared on episodes of Walker, Texas Ranger and Dallas.
- He has a cousin named Tiffany, who has a monkey named Cowboy.
- It’s Christian and deeply religious.
- Jensen’s first modeling gig was when he was just 2 years old.

Thank you for all your time and dedication away from your family. I’d like to thank your beautiful wife and daughter for allowing you to continue your work. I like so many things you support. I used to work with adults with special needs. I would love to meet everyone when you come to Jacksonville Florida but I just can’t afford it. Keep up the good work.

I don’t think he does anymore. He had lasik surgery years ago.
