TV Addict posted a video with parts of the interview at Supernatural set on November 3rd.
On November 3rd, the press visited Supernatural set and had an interview with Jensen, Jared and Misha. You can see the photos of the interview at our gallery and read below a part of the interview where they talked about Supernatural future and when they said that 300 episodes could be the end.
“Just 300? Who said that?” Jared Padalecki said when asked.
“I think it was more of, like, that’s the next milestone,” Jensen Ackles explained. “We have our eyes set on getting there and then we’ll see. We keep talking about another number, but I don’t want to mention that,” he teased.
Padalecki said that things used to go “one step at a time,” which has now become “one half season stretch at a time,” pointing out that they only have around 45 more episodes to shoot before getting to 300.
“Eric Kripke, way back in the day, I think in Season 3 or 4 he mentioned five seasons or something, and everybody was like ‘you’re only going to do it for 5 seasons’?” Padalecki recalled. “And he was like ‘No. I was just taken out of context. I just think maybe we can at least get that far.’ I think he legitimately was like ‘I’m just trying to keep pushing the ball, so they keep on saying yes,’ so there are a few numbers… I don’t think it’s going to be a number. I think we’ll all know it when we do it. It’s going to be hard to swallow.”
Robert Benedict (Chuck/God in Supernatural) and Richard Speight Jr. (Trickster/Gabriel) created together an online series called Kings of Con. This will be a comedy series, aired by the online channel Comic Con HQ, which will follow the actors through Supernatural conventions. As we all can expect, some others Supernatural actors will be in it, Jensen Ackles included. You can read below the series synopsis, watch the trailer and check its screencaptures.
“Broad City meets Curb Your Enthusiasm with the comedic honesty of Louie as Richard and Rob play caricatures of themselves cavorting through the con world: Rich, thrice divorced former actor whose love of the game is fueled by the faux fame he experiences at the hands of a gaggle fans who still think he matters, and Rob, a divorcee-to-be who is back on the circuit to cover the costs of his failed marriage and stalled career.”
It premieres November 15th on Comic Con HQ.
With Jeffrey Dean Morgan participation in The Walking Dead, Jensen didn’t miss the chance to talk to the actor who played the father (John Winchester) of his character (Dean) on Supernatural. With an object from the first scene of Jeffrey’s character, Negan, on his new tv show, Jensen tweeted to his old friend.
@jensenackles: “Hey @JDMorgan I found this in the trunk…can I try it out?. Don’t miss tonight’s episode. It’s a knockout! #Supernatural #walkingdead”
@JDMorgan: “@JensenAckles J. You weren’t supposed to find that. Gonna need her back son. I mean… I already gave you my car. And? I don’t know? Sorta, died for you.”
@jensenackles: “Yep, ur right. Copy that. I’ll wrap it in this red scarf I found and overnight it to you. ??”
@JDMorgan: “Cool. Um… underneath the spare… I may of stashed a leather jacket? Can you send that as well? Need by Sunday.”
@jensenackles: “Leather jacket was shredded by Vamps years ago. I made them pay!Wish they were zombies. Easier 2 kill, ya know. How’s #WinnebagoLife going?”
